Project Overview
Typography Exploration
Typography | Student Work
August 2019 - December 2019
During a semester of typography class, I immersed myself in the field of typography by crafting every line and curve of each letter. This hands-on experience involved cutting letters out of paper and digitally manipulating type, allowing me to gain a deeper understanding of typography.
Typographic Poster
ITC Bauhaus Typeface
After studying the Bauhaus Movement, I fell in love with Bauhaus art from its use of colors, typography, and geometric shapes. In class, I was required to create a typographic poster through Illustrator with the use of one typeface. I have decided to use the ITC Bauhaus Typeface and was able to create the poster by playing with geometric shapes and the typeface while incorporating the colors red, yellow, and blue, to represent the Bauhaus style and personality.
Tools: Adobe Illustrator

Life: How to Live It
A physical book was created to display a collection of hand-drawn quotes that revolve around the theme of "Life: How to Live It". Hand-drawing the quotes allowed to me further explore each typeface and play with the type.
